The International Dismissal Survey 2018

The International Dismissal Survey 2018
The fourth edition of the International Dismissal Survey details dismissal legislation, and provides dismissal cost projections from an employer’s perspective, in 45 countries. According to the study, after 1 July 2017, the date of when the Labor Code came into force, Lithuania is no longer considered as one of the countries where employers incur the highest employment termination costs.

Deloitte Digital Banking Maturity Study EMEA
Comprehensive digital maturity study of 248 financial institutions across 38 countries (including Lithuania) reveals significant gaps – and opportunities. A mixture of changing consumer preferences, competition from FinTech start-ups, and regulations like the European Union’s revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) have been forcing banks in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to develop their digital capabilities.

First Steps into the Labour Market
Close to half of Central Europe’s and Lithuania’s most talented young people aspire to be subject matter experts rather than managers. That is not to say that would-be experts have no leadership ambitions – almost a third of them believe that their peers would recognise their leadership qualities.
This is one finding of the Deloitte ‘First Steps into the Labour Market’ 2018 report, which describes the views on work, life and education of almost 6,000 students and recent graduates from leading universities in 14 countries across the region.
