Protecting people and the planet
Rethinking and redesigning

Take, make, consume, dispose
Today a lot of companies all around the World are facing increasing pressure from consumers, governments, NGOs and investors to have a positive and active role in protecting people and the planet. Traditional economy driven by the model “take, make, consume, dispose” is being changed by rethinking and redesigning the way we produce and consume products, provide services and make investments.
As a result, a growing number of businesses are promising to take action towards the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development set by the United Nations.
Sustainability reshapes businesses and economies worldwide and it is no longer an option, but a necessity.
In the Sustainable Growth Committee we drive this agenda, visualise the values of sustainable growth and increase the knowledge on sustainability not only within our DCC members, but also within Lithuanian Stakeholders from the Government, Businesses and Society.
Together with other Nordic Chambers we organise annual CSR conference, which is aiming at identification of important possibilities within Sustainable Growth for businesses. By analysing important trends, mapping key stakeholders in Denmark and Lithuania, presenting their attitudes and sharing best practise with our members, we encourage companies to improve their businesses and share this with other members and stakeholders.
It is actually accelerated by the development of strategic solutions, setting the framework for green transition, securing stable business environment and creating foundations for sustainable societies.
Together we are on a mission to create sustainable growth.
