DCC charity visiting children's cancer unit at Kaunas Hospital

DCC charity visiting children's cancer unit at Kaunas Hospital.

Visiting Kaunas Hospital children's clinic Monday 21st January we completed the distribution of presents received from our guests at the DCC Christmas Dinner.

Edita, department nurse at the ward received together with the staff and some of the small patients, Ove and Carl for a joyful afternoon. The clinic had just gone through a quite busy December month, so January was quite timely for our visit. DCC thanked the department nurses for their dedicated work with a huge box of original Danish chocolate. We handed over the USB copy of the Poul and the Dragon movie, immediately seen and approved with smiles by patients and nurses. The film will be shown to all patients and families in the current treatments and caring work. Also there was an interest in showing the movie to children during treatments in the intensive care room.

All in all good to see a smiling impact from DCC's gesture to Kaunas cancer children clinic also this year.
